Accessibility statement

Commitment to Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring that the Youth IMPACT website is accessible to all users, especially young people with visual impairments. Our aim is to provide an inclusive, user-friendly experience and to serve as a good example of accessible digital content.

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

This website has been developed following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We strive to maintain this level of accessibility in all content and future updates.

What We Focused On

  • Clear and logical structure for easier navigation.
  • High contrast and legible fonts to support users with visual impairments.
  • Keyboard-only navigation for users who do not use a mouse.
  • Responsive design to ensure usability on various devices and screen sizes.
  • Descriptive and meaningful links and labels on interactive elements.

What We Avoided

  • Vague or unclear wording.
  • Information based only on color or screen position.
  • Overly long or complicated texts.
  • Complex tables and layouts.
  • Flashing or moving content.

Additional Considerations

Because our content occasionally includes terms related to accessibility and visual impairment, we aim to explain them clearly or provide helpful resources when needed.

Downloadable Materials

Some downloadable materials (e.g., PDFs, DOCs) are designed primarily for print. We do our best to provide accessible text alternatives for such files.

Third-Party Links

We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party websites linked from our pages, and these are clearly marked as external links.

Continuous Improvement

We understand that full accessibility is an ongoing process. If you encounter any issues or believe something on our site could be improved, please let us know.
